Synopsis
This story tells about Shizuko Nara, a young girl who has graduated from her stressful college year in Osaka, Japan. She starts having a family of her own with the boy of her dreams, who is 16 cm shorter than her known as Atsushi Shintani (Since she is 172 cm tall). 5 years later, they have a 5-year-old son named Arata Shintani, who Shizuko calls him "Mini Shintani" just because he looks a lot like his father. Which made her want to tease him. That night before going to bed, Shizuko tells Arata her biggest secret that she has never told anyone except for her husband.

Atsushi Shintani - Shizuko's husband, who's 16cm shorter than her but she loves him for who he is.

After 1000 dates and university graduation, Atsushi Shintani, the short boy of my dreams and also the boy who accepted me for who I am, finally proposed me and got married together.
5 long years later, we finally had a 5 year old son named Arata Shintani, who looks a lot like his shorty father and I've nicknamed him "Mini Shintani". As for my shorty husband I call him Shintani instead of his name, Atsushi. I've tried to call his name but I couldn't, I don't know why.
I just hope my son doesn't grow short like his shorty father. Shintani may be a shorty but he's like my cute hero or a knight with a shining armour that's what I always love about him. Back when we were in university, we were known as "All hanshin kyojin" the comedy duo with the opposite height, whenever we see each other, we tend to start arguments which caused lots of trouble towards the lectures and the other students in the building since we're studying in the same building.
But we got along very well that's because we're both Umibozu fans. We always go to his live concerts together or hang out somewhere before going home. The route to my apartment and his house are the same.
So my new life as a family started ever since the day that the wedding ring slipped into my ring finger.
That night before going to bed in Shizuko's bedroom.

Shizuko: Mini Shintani! *Smiled*
Arata: *Looks at Shizuko and says with excitement* Mama!
Shizuko: Do you want to see something pretty?
Arata: Something pretty? *Puzzled*
Shizuko: Yes *Hugs Arata tightly*
Arata: That hurts mama! *Days in pain*
Shizuko: Sorry Arata. *Leans closer to him*
Arata: Mama..did..did you just call me Arata? *Becomes suprise*
Shizuko: Yeah..
Arata: *Makes a big smile*
Shizuko: What's with that smile?
Arata: It's a secret mama!
Shizuko: *Hugs Arata tightly again* You're so cute mini Shintani!
Arata: Mama! Mama! Stop it you're hurting me! *Tries to break free from his mother*
Therefore, Atsushi finally comes home from work and hears Arata's scream from his bedroom then quickly runs upstairs.
Atsushi: *Opens the door and sees Shizuko and Arata on bed* Shizuko, what are you doing?
Shizuko: *Stops and looks at Atsushi. Gives him a warm smile and a wave* Oh welcome home Shintani!
Arata: *Breaks free from Shizuko and runs to Atsushi* Papa! Mama was bullying me just now.
Atsushi: *Carries Arata up* I see I see. I'll give mama a very good lesson later.
Shizuko: As if you can do that my cute little midget. *Gives him a sly smile and lies down*
Atsushi: I'll show you, you giant! *Argues with Shizuko*
Arata: *Becomes frightened* "Papa and mama are really scary especially mama"
Shizuko: Shall we have a show down then.
Atsushi: Sure giant woman! *Fires up*
Shizuko: Bring it on midget, be my guest to do so. *Fires up too*
Atsushi: *Walks closer to Shizuko and prepares to hit Shizuko* I'm serious okay.
Shizuko: I know midget.
Atsushi: *Pissed off and tries to hit Shizuko but in the end he couldn't*
Shizuko: What's wrong Shintani? Are you surrendering? *Looks at Atsushi with a sly smile*
Atsushi: *Puts his arm down and nods* Yeah
Shizuko: I see that makes me the winner again hahaha! *Laughs*
Arata: Papa *Looks at Atsushi, who's remaining silent*
Shizuko: *Senses something strange from Atsushi and leans closer to him* What's wrong with you? Are you alright? A..A.tsushi? Are you alright Atsushi? *Blushes*
Arata: Mama you've done it again. *Looks at Atsushi then says in happiness* Papa! Mama called me Arata just now.
Shizuko: *Turns to the and hides her face with the pillow*
Atsushi: *Puts Arata down and goes closer to Shizuko* Shizuko..
Shizuko: What little midget? Don't look at me, it's embarrassing. *Blushes*
Atsushi: *Hugs Shizuko from the back and smiled* Got you my beautiful giant! *Flips her up and down again*
Shizuko: *Becomes suprised to see Atsushi doing that* Shintani?! Are you trying to kill me?
Arata: Papa is really strong! *Claps happily*
Atsushi: I win giant woman!
Shizuko: Tsk! *Admits her defeat*
Arata: I want to be strong as papa! *Hugs Atsushi*
Atsushi: I see I see. Good luck with that Arata.
Arata: *Nods*
Shizuko: *Smiled as she looks at them*
Arata: *Looks at Shizuko* Mama? Why are you smiling by yourself?
Atsushi: *Looks at Shizuko with confusion*
Shizuko: Oh nothing, I'm just happy to see my little Shintani's smiling.
Atsushi: Idiot, you're a Shintani too ya know.
Shizuko: Oh yeah I know that.
Atsushi: You're my woman now and you will always be one. *Hugs Shizuko's shoulders with his left hand and drags her head to his upper chest*
Shizuko: *Blushes and closes her eyes with happiness* "Of course I will Atsushi"
Arata: Papa! Mama! Let's sleep together tonight!
Shizuko: *Pushes Atsushi away and pats Arata's head* Of course we will.
Atsushi: *Gets up with anger* That woman..
Arata: Oi Shintani, have you eaten?
Atsushi: Oh yeah come to think of it. I'm pretty hungry now.
Shizuko: There're left over in the fridge, go grab it and heat it up before you eat em.
Atsushi: Okay! *Leaves the room*
Shizuko: Before that.. *Stands up and looks at Atsushi with her sexy eyes*
Atsushi: *Looks at Shizuko and blushes* What?
Shizuko: *Walks closer to him and grabs his shoulders from the back* Let's take a bath together.
Atsushi: What—?! *Screams and blushes very hard as his nose starts bleeding* "What? No way, Shizuko wants to bathe with me. We haven't done that for ages, to be honest I really missed it."
Shizuko: Well what's your answer?
Atsushi: *Blushes* Yeah sure.
Shizuko: *Grabs their towels and drags Atsushi to the bathroom* Arata! Papa and mama are going to take a shower together now. You can play some toys while waiting for us.
Arata: *Nods* Okay!
Atsushi: What are you plotting giant woman?
Shizuko: I'm not plotting anything you little midget.
Atsushi: You're acting really weird lately. Did something happened to you?
Shizuko: *Reaches to the bathroom and shuts the door*
Atsushi: *Takes off his coat and tie then looks at Shizuko* Talk to me Shizuko.
Shizuko: *Looks at Atsushi with her sad eyes* *Sobbind*
Atsushi: *Becomes frightened* Shizuko! Shizuko! Don't cry don't cry. I'll do whatever you say tonight so please don't cry.
Shizuko: *Nods and smile*
Atsushi: *Sighs and takes off his clothes then covers himself with the towel* Okay Shizuko I'm going to scrub myself first before going into the tub.
Shizuko: Okay *Nods then starts blushing*
Atsushi: Just refresh yourself before coming in alright? *Shuts the bathroom door*
Shizuko: *Collapses on the floor and sighs* "I'm glad he's like his usual self, it's been awhile I've argued with him like that. That midget comes home late every night and we rarely have dinner, the 3 of us. I really miss those times when we were still university students"
Atsushi: *Opens the door and sees Shizuko sitting on the ground* Ah, why aren't you undressed yet? I've finished scrubbing myself. I'll wait for you so hurry up! *Closes the door*
Shizuko: Wait for me you little midget! Don't forget to scrub my back *Gets up and quickly gets undressed then goes into the bathroom*
Atsushi: Do it yourself giant woman.
Shizuko: Oh come one! Please! Please my cute little husband!
Atsushi: *Blushes and grabs the sponge and scrubs Shizuko's back* Alright!
Shizuko: Thank you Atsushi. *Thanks him softly*
After we have taken our bath together. Both of us gone back to our bedroom to see our little Arata, who was waiting for us.
Atsushi: *Opens the door* Arata!
Arata: *Runs to Atsushi* Papa!
Atsushi: *Carries Atsushi up* Let's go to the living room to watch some rented videos.
Arata: Okay!
Shizuko: Shintani..
Atsushi: What? *Looks at Shizuko*
Shizuko: I'll go prepare dinner for you. *Goes downstairs to the kitchen*
Atsushi: Thanks! *Looks at Arata* Let's go then.
Arata: *Nods*
That midget and my mini Shintani are bonding their father and son relationship by watching horror videos while I'm making a late night dinner for that midget. I can't believe my mini Shintani loves horror movies than kids movies plus he's watching those that are 18+. I'm really worried about that my little Shintani will be influenced by those violent scenes.
Shizuko: Shintani! Your dinner's ready! *Puts Shintani's table on the dinning table*
Atsushi: *Ignores her and watches the movie* Wow, that's a lot of zombies huh?
Arata: Zombies! Zombies!
Horror movie plays, the scene where the zombie hunters shot every zombie and the other zombie attacks him from the back and the hunter falls
Shizuko: *Becomes pissed off and her icy aura appears* Shintani.... "That stupid deaf midget"
The room suddenly becomes very cold because of Shizuko's icy aura appears around her. Arata and Atsushi start shivering due to Shizuko's icy powers.
Atsushi: *Shivering* Why is it so cold in here?
Arata: Papa, I'm really cold right now.
Atsuahi: Shizuko? Did you turn on the air conditioner? *Turns back to Shizuko and becomes frightened after seeing her surrounded by her icy aura*
Shizuko: Shintani Atsushi..How are dare you.
Atsushi: *Stands up and bows as apology towards her* I'm sorry Shizuko, I didn't hear you just now. That's why.
Shizuko: Not only that... *Freezes Atsushi's legs*
Atsushi: My legs! What are you trying to do Shizuko? *Looks at his legs being frozen*
Shizuko: Why did you let Arata watch this violent video? *Grabs the DVD case and shows it to Shintani*
Atsushi: Well...it's only about zombies eating human fleshes and there aren't any violent scenes.
Shizuko: But it's 18+, Arata's too young to watch these stuffs.
Arata: Mama, I really like watching them with papa. *Grabs Shizuko's skirt*
Shizuko: *Hits Arata's head* You're not allowed to watch these violent videos again.
Arata: *Sheds tears and starts crying*
Atsushi: Look what have you done idiot!
Shizuko: That's to teach him a lesson and you're next.
Atsushi: Let me go you Amazon giant!
Shizuko: *Hits his head*
Atsushi: That hurts!!!
Shizuko: *Snaps to unfreeze the ice from Atsushi's legs* Hurry up and eat it before the food goes cold.
Atsushi: Yeah sure
Shizuko: *Pats Arata's head to stop him from crying* I'm sorry Arata. Mama did this is because she wants you to be a good boy.
Arata: *Looks at Shizuko and stops crying*
Shizuko: You're a boy right? A boy shouldn't cry, it shows that you're a crybaby and the girls in school won't like you. *Smiled* Your smile is always the best.
Arata: *Laughs and smile*
Shizuko: *Laughs* Haha you're so cute my cute mini Shintani! *Cuddles him*
Arata: Mama! I have a name right? My name is Arata! Shintani Arata!
Shizuko: Oww..you're so cute!
Arata: Mama!
Atsushi: It's so noisy here, can't I eat in peace?
Shizuko: Sorry Shintani! *Looks at Atsushi*
Atsushi: I think it's time to show Arata your little secret?
Arata: *Looks at Shizuko* Secret? What's that?
Shizuko: It's something that you can never tell anyone about. *Leans to Arata's nose and smiled*
Atsushi: That's right Arata. *Munches his food*
Shizuko: Shintani, don't talk with your mouth full! *Scolds Atsushi*
Atsushi: Ok ok! *Quickly finished eating and leaves the plates on the sink then runs away* Thanks for the food and do turn off the TV before you come up.
Shizuko: *Sighs* Alright!
Arata: I wanna help mama. *Grabs Shizuko's skirt*
Shizuko: *Looks at Arata* Why don't you turn off the Tv and remove the disk from the DVD player.
Arata: Okay mama! *Starts doing what Shizuko tells him to do*
Shizuko: *Grabs the dirty dishes and washes them in the kitchen sink*
Arata: *Walks to Shizuko* Mama, I'm done.
Shizuko: *Finished washing the dishes and wipes her hand on a towel* I see, let's go upstairs then. Papa is waiting for us in the bedroom.
Arata: Yes!
Shizuko and Arata walk upstairs to the bedroom. Atsushi is already sitting in bed waiting for them to come.
Atsushi: What took you so long? *Digs his nose*
Arata: Papa! *Jumps up on bed and lands on Atsushi*
Atsushi: *Embraces Arata* Got you Arata.
Shizuko: *Turns off the light and walks to them*
Atsushi: *Yawns and lies down* I'm really tired and sleepy. I want to sleep, good night both of you. *Falls asleep and snores*
Shizuko: *Smiled and covers him with the blanket* Good night my beloved Atsushi. *Kisses his cheek*
Arata: Papa's sleeping but I'm not.
Shizuko: Now it's your turn, mama will put you to sleep. *Carries Arata onto her arms*
Arata: But I'm not sleepy.
Shizuko: Arata take a closer look, mama is going to make something beat for you.
Arata: Okay.
Shizuko: Ready?
Arata: *Nods*
Shizuko: *Casts her ice Magic by making a snowflake floating on her hand*
Arata: *Becomes amazed* Wow it's really pretty!
Shizuko: *Makes lots of them which falls from the ceiling*
Arata: Wow they're so pretty *Catches a snowflake and sees it*
Shizuko: Mama loves winter so much.
Arata: Why?
Shizuko: It's always beautiful when the snowflakes fall and the field turns white. The children will be having fun playing with the snow like riding on sleds, making snowmans and making snow angels.
Arata: Wow! I want to play them too.
Shizuko: Let's wait till winter arrives.
Arata: Well mama can make snow, why don't you make one tomorrow.
Shizuko: Mama can't do that.
Arata: Why?
Shizuko: *Casts a young girl waving at Arata and smashes it with her hand*
Arata: The little snow girl..she's gone.
Shizuko: This power must not be shown by anyone...ever.
Arata: Why?
Shizuko: This power is beautiful yet powerful and dangerous. It's a curse that is passed down from the generation to another.
Arata: But...I love mama's power. I bet papa loves them too cause you can make pretty things out of ice.
Shizuko: Thank you Arata, mama's really happy to hear that and I know papa loves them too.
Arata: *Smiled*
Shizuko: To be honest mama hates this power because I've learned that this power get people hurt and kill them at the same time. That's why when mama was your age, I was always afraid to use them. The people from mama's village hated mama so much and mama have been bullied many times.
Arata: Mama you poor thing. *Sheds a tear*
Shizuko: *Sheds a tear* Yes then I've made a decision, I've trained myself to become stronger, to control it and to accept it.
Arata: What happened next?
Shizuko: Many years passed after mama finished high school, that was when I've met papa.
Arata: *Becomes excited* Then then?
Shizuko: We've always had arguments over little things and made lots of shows downs to see which one of us was the best. In the end, it became a tie.
Arata: *Becomes sleepy*
Shizuko: *Smiled as she looks at Arata* Listen very carefully Arata, you must never tell anyone about mama's secret.
Arata: Okay mama, I promise.
Shizuko: Pink swear? *Shows her pinky*
Arata: Pinky swear! *Makes a pink swear with Shizuko*
Shizuko: Good boy. *Hugs Arata*
Arata: *Yawns and rubs his eyes*
Shizuko: *Places him next to Atsushi, who is sleeping and covers him with the blanket* Good night Arata.
Arata: Good night mama. *Falls asleep*
Shizuko: *Sleeps next to Arata and watches them sleeping soundly with a smile* "These two... are sleeping soundly like little cute piglets. Those little piglets are the ones that I want to protect." *Falls asleep*
