The day has finally come plus it’s my first day of my middle
school life. Starting today I’ll be a young adult and a newbie or should I say junior! I hate it when anyone calls me that.
Now time to start my story so this is how it goes. So it all
started right at home; I'm Yuzuko Kanoe, here I am getting ready to start off my
first day at Sekyou Academy. My big brother who is three years older than me, Yuuto Kanoe plus he’s one the top 10 guys popular in the entire academy. Oh yeah, along with my twin cousins, the elder one
is Kamui Sakamaki and the younger one is Subaru Sakamaki. Their mother, Yuuko Kanoe
who is also my mother’s younger sister.The sad part is their mother died when
they were just 3 years old and their father disappeared out of nowhere after the death of their mother. So my mother took them in and raised them.
So off we walked along the roadside-and finally we’ve reached
in front of the school gate, to the main entrance where every student’s shoe racks
are, we walk along the hallway to attend the assembly to welcome all the freshmans,
newbies or juniors. Our principle; Junko Enoshima was giving her boring talk on
stage to everyone in the entire hall.
After the boring assembly, all of us head back to our
classes. As for us freshmans; one of the seniors from the high school building gave us a tour around the school plus they were both handsome, I bet
they must be one of the top 10 popular guys in the entire academy. The school
was huge, including the school field, the gym, the swimming pool and even the school
cafeteria.
After the tour, all of us went straight to class and as for
me. My class is right next to the staffs’ room. As for my homeroom teacher,
Miyuki Hanazawa; she’s absolutely beautiful with her long brown wavy hair and her ocean
blue eyes and I heard she’s the most popular teacher in the entire academy, I
bet the boys in my class must have fall in love with her in the first sight.
And so, they are 40 students in my class, twenty boys and
twenty girls. I guess both genders in our class are even. Our teacher arranged
our seats according to our names from A to Z. My seat is right at the back and
the best part is I’m sitting next to the window where I can watch the scenery
and get some fresh air. I bet this will be the best school day ever.
During lunch break, I walked out of class to meet up with my
brother and the twins who are at the school cafeteria, while I was walking
along the hall way, some guy knocked me down, it turns out that guy is Satoshi
Sugiyama plus we knew each other in elementary school and he’s my elder
brother’s gang mate along with his best friend Kenichi Oono. Oono moved to
Tokyo before spring came. With Oono gone, Sugiyama hasn’t been playing soccer
ball with the other boys in my class ever since then.
Sugiyama turned back at me and asked “Kanoe is that you? Are
you Yuzuko Kanoe from Hanasaku Elementry School?” Then I said yes. Sugiyama smiled
and help me up and said, “I knew it was you when first saw you, Kanoe!”
I smiled and said “You grown a lot, Sugiyama.” Then he
asked, “You think so?” and I agreed.
“What class are you in, Sugiyama?” I asked. “Class 1-C, how
about you Kanoe?” said Sugiyama and I said, “Class 1-A”. After I told him where
my class was, he kept quiet and walked away. I quickly chase after him and
shouted, “Wait for me Sugiyama!”
He stopped and turned back at me and shouted, “Hurry up chibi
Yuzuko!” I became angry and shouted, “Stop calling me that, Sugiyama!” Then
starts laughing and said while running away from the angry old me “Now that’s
the chibi Yuzuko that I’ve once know!” So I chased after him until we ran into
the cafeteria where my elder brother and the twins were. Everyone was queuing
up buying some food while both of us are running, knocking the que down. Suddenly
my brother stood up and grabbed both of us and tied us up and asked while
giving his scary look “Who is the one who started all this?” Both of us became
freaked out and Sugiyama "It was me boss, please tie us lose.”
I was shocked after Sugiyama finally said it was him who
started this usually Sugiyama wouldn't admit it when he has does something wrong back when we were in elementary
school. So my brother forgave us and in the end
Sugiyama apologized to me too. I smiled and forgave him. Then he pats my head and
said, “Kanoe, I guess you’re no longer the chibi Yuzuko that I once knew back then and I kind of like the new you.” After I heard what he
said and I stated blushing.
And so, my brother untied us and we finally had our
meals. I brought my favourite meal; Sausage octopus; they were absolute my favourite since kindergarten.
“You’re still childish as always, Kanoe.”said Sugiyama while having his grape juice. I've became angry which made me want to punch Sugiyama when I was about to do so.Subaru stopped me and said “Stop fighting both of you!”. Kamui adds on by saying
“That’s right! Both of you were classmates back in elementary school remember?”
Both of us said in the same time “We know that already!!”. So
the school bell rang and all of us quickly head back to class and so I do and
my siblings, oh yeah I almost forgot Sugiyama too.
While I was walking back to my class on my own which is on
the second floor, Sugiyama followed me from the back. Then again I was walking
on the flight of stairs, Sugiyama finally catches up to me then walks to the
front then he turns back to me and said “I’m going first!” then he laughs at me
and walks away. I shouted as I’m chasing after him, “Not on my watch!! Idiot
Sugiyama!!!”. B9oth of us were racing to see who reaches to our class the
fastest. The first thing we did was by walking then walking in the fast way
then running a little then but not least running as fast as lightning. I guess
both of us were like kids back in the old days but I really had a great time.
And so as we were running and running, both of us finally
reached to our classes in the same time. Then Sugiyama said in an evil way “I
guess we’ll call this a draw but next time we’ll have a race during the sports
day.”
Then I agreed in an evil way as well. And so before the
teacher came in, I quickly took my seat, which was right next to the window,
where I can watch the scenery anytime I want.
Not too long later, my next period teacher came in, he wrote
his name on the blackboard plus it was written “Yamato Tenzou”. As he
introduced himself by saying “I’m Yamato Tenzou and I’ll be your English
teacher.” To me it was like he’s introducing himself like a robot that just
broke.
Then a boy suddenly asked him a question, “Excuse me teacher
how old are you?” if I’m not mistaken that boy’s name was Ryuto Hayase. The
teacher answered his question; “I’m 45 years old”
That guy looks
old like in the age of seventies. Then the teacher said “All right class, do you have
anymore questions to ask before I start the class?” Everyone remain silent but
the teacher by saying; “All right then please take out your texts and turn to
page one”
After my boring English class, I fell asleep on my desk
then I heard someone calling my name, the sound came from the window. I woke up and looked
down from the window, it turned out the person who called me was my brother, who was having PE period. Then all the girls quickly asked me by
saying; “How does senior Yunto know you?” then I said, “That’s because
he’s my brother.”
Everyone in my class became shocked. “Then the rumors were
true after all,” said Misaki Ayuzawa, who stumped on my table p.s she's my
class vice president.
“Please tell us about senior Kanoe!!!” said the girls, who
surrounded my seat and I agreed with them.
After school, I walked out from class then I saw Sugiyama,
the twins and my brother were standing next to the stairs.
“How was class so far?” asked Subaru with a smile. “I heard
you were surrounded by girls just now. Did something happen to you?”
“No it’s nothing, they were just asking questions about big
brother.” I said. Sugiyama added, “ I see! I thought you became popular
already. I guess I was wrong after all”
"Could you shut that mouth of yours for a moment." I said angrily. Then he laughed at me again.
Kamui hit both of our heads and said “Stop fighting already
or you’ll be doing the bungee again Yuzuko, you too Sugiyama.”
Both of us became frightened and Sugiyama whispered to me
“Did senior Kamui really punish you by doing the bungee?” and I nodded. Sugiyama became frightened even more. I whispered at Sugiyama,Kamui and big brother are sadists so don't ever do anything stupid or they'll kill you.
"Got it mistress" said Sugiyama.
"What are you talking back there?"asked my brother suspectedly. "Nothing!" we said with a smile.
While everyone was walking forward, I stopped by at the
candy store then I saw Nadeshiko. She smiled and waved at me, I smiled and
waved back.
Suddenly Kamui and my brother came to me and dragged me away. Then
I started mumble, I demanded them to release me but those two ignored me. “Bye
Yuzuko-chan!” said Nadeshiko with a sad smile.
When I’ve got home, my mother came out from the kitchen and
said “How was your first day Yuzuko? Did you see Sugiyama or your other friends from elementary school?”
“Ya mom!” I said as I was taking off my shoes.
My brother added on “Yuzuko was acting naughty again!” and
Kamui agreed with him. Then my mother asked” What did she do this time?”
“I didn’t do anything mom, Sugiyama is the one who started
it!” I said
“That’s right aunt Mikako! Yuzuko wasn’t naughty today!”
said Subaru.
My mother became confused then walked back into the kitchen,
“I don’t know who is right or wrong.” She said. “Anyways hurry up get
yourselves change or you’ll won’t be having a bite to eat.”
All of us went upstairs and a few moments later, we had
dinner. I told my mother everything about what happened in school and even the
part that the girls from my class surrounded me.
My mother laughed and stared at my brother then laughed
again. My brother started to blush.
“Yuuto….” my mother called with a smile. “You looked so
handsome. That’s why fan girls surrounded you whenever you’re in school
everyday.
Then I add on “Not just school even in public!”. Everyone
started laughing and my brother’s face became red like a ripe tomato.
After dinner, I took my dog poodle; Pinky for a stroll in my
housing area. The weather was clear and the stars were shining brightly on the sky like
diamonds. I saw cherry blossom trees around my housing area; they looked
beautiful at night as the moonlight shining upon them. The petals were falling like snowflakes during winter.
As I was strolling, I saw Sugiyama in his school uniform
covered with dirt. “Sugiyama, why are your clothes dirty?” I asked.
He looked at himself and blushed then I started laughing.
“What’s so funny?” said Sugiyama as he blushed.
“Are you playing soccer ball again?” I said as I walked closer to
him with a cunning smile.
His face became red like a riped tomato and nodded. “Ya, got a problem with that?” asked Sugiyama.
“Of course not” I said. “It just…brings back memories when
we were elementary school and I remembered you always played soccer ball with
Oono everyday after school.”
He smiled and agreed with me. “The stars are beautiful huh?”
he said as he was watching the stars on the sky then I smiled and agreed with
him.
“Oh no it’s getting late, I better go home before big
brother or Kamui kills me again!” I said panicky.
“I’ll walk you home, we are staying in the same housing area
after all.” said Sugiyama.
“Thanks Sugiyama” I said with a smile.
